Notification not triggered when using WordPress mobile app

    When I publish a post on my website the notification email triggers just fine. When I publish a post on the WordPress app a notification email is not triggered.

    Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thanks for your message.

    Yes, that’s correct. I’m fairly sure this is documented on the BNFW website somewhere.
    Essentially, the WordPress app doesn’t transition a post through any statuses and just ‘publishes’ it by adding it directly to the database. As BNFW relies on the post status transitions in order to trigger the correct notification, and there’s no way to tell how the post was added and by what means, BNFW won’t be able to trigger notifications for things that the app does at this time.
