notification that html files wordpress created has been changed

    Hi.

    I use Japanese version of wordpress,

    And wordfence notified me readme.html file has been modified from original one.

    As I looked into the file and how the file changed, all of them was just Japanese translation.

    Could I just select always ignore this file?

    @duke0179 I’ve the same issue with my WordPress version. I choose to use the ignore until it changes again option. Whenever the file is updated or changed for any other reason you will get notified.

    In my opinion that’s a bit safer.

    Han Balk: Thanks for answering here!

    We do have a request in our internal system to handle the alternate language distributions of WordPress in scans, to prevent these warnings, but Han Balk’s suggestion is the best option for now.
