Notification type default

    Can I set the default format for notification of new posts to Excerpt?
    Ours seem to be Full Plain.
    I don’t want each subscriber to have to set this as we are using Public subscribers not registered.

    Subscribe2 only sends plain text excerpts to Public Subscribers. Registered Subscribers have a choice of plain text or HTML and full content or excerpt.

    You can change the default setting for new Registered Subscribers at Subscribe2 > Settings under the Registered Users Tab.

    Check your own subscription at Subscribe2 > Your Subscriptions.

    Bear in mind the Excerpt will use any defined Excerpt within WordPress, then the content before an HTML ‘more’ tag and finally the first 55 words of the post content.
