Notifications doesn’t works

I can’t get mine to work and could use some help.

I’m sorry, but I can’t find the video. I’m new here.

I didn’t find the video helpful. I found it hard to hear and it didn’t seem to address my problem. My problem is the plugin doesn’t send out any messages. Nothing. I found an article elsewhere that said it might help to use MailGun instead of what my site was using, so I went to the trouble of setting MailGun up and apparently it’s happy with the way I did it, but the emails from the plugin are still not going out. Emails from my contact form are, I used that as a check.

I hired someone from JustAnswer to solve the problem. Apparently the problem was my server didn’t allow the use of the phpmail() function that the plugin was using. The JustAnswer fellow added a plugin that replaces phpmail with smtp. I don’t completely understand it, but it works fine now. I can give you the email of the fellow if you like — he was easily worth what I paid him. If you’re interested just leave a comment at cheerfulmonk.com and I will email you his address.
