@tonyagould,
Does this only apply to new posts or will it send out a notification if an existing post is edited and re-published?
It will send out a notification if an existing post is edited and re-published.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening? The previous plugin we used had a check box available on each post that you could tick to exclude notifications on that post?
I think we could probably just change the notification from Send Immediately to Disable, edit the post, and then turn it back on. It is not ideal, but I really like all of the other features of this plugin so I really do not want to switch back to what we were using.
Thanks!!
@tonyagould,
Currently, you would need to disable notification and then edit the post. We’ll find a workaround for this in later versions.
Hey Team,
I have tried to update my old posts and set my Notifications to “Post notification ###POSTTITLE###” and send mail to my subscribers immeditely but the edited version of the posts is not getting sent to them.
Please let me know where I am going wrong.
@rohit016,
If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.
Sorry for this.
Actually my problem similar to @tonyagould So I thought of continuing on same thread.
@rohit016,
You wanted to send notification on Post edit and @tonyagould didn’t wanted to.
Better to open new support thread as the cause of issue might vary from person to person.
