Hello @webtesa,
Thanks for reaching out! I hope you’re doing well.
The message you’re seeing indicates that a user who is required to use 2FA was able to log in without it, because their 2FA configuration couldn’t be completed.
This situation commonly arises on WooCommerce or membership-based sites, where users are automatically logged in right after registration—often without being presented with an opportunity to configure 2FA. If your enforcement policy doesn’t allow for a grace period, the email notification will be fired as an informative notice that 2FA was bypassed on the website due to lack of 2FA setup elements.
To resolve this, we recommend enabling the 2FA front-end configuration page and ensuring it’s accessible to users who don’t have access to the WordPress dashboard. This allows them to configure their 2FA even if they don’t interact with the default WP admin. You can find a full guide on how to set that up here: Configure 2FA Front-End Page
As a side note: there’s currently no option to programmatically disable the email notification, but properly configuring the front-end setup as described above should prevent the situation from occurring in the first place.
Let me know if you have any further questions!
Thanks for your response. As I stated in the initial message, the plugin is setup correctly, the Front-end 2FA page is also configured with the following shortcode “[wp-2fa-setup-form]”. However, I am still receiving these notifications.
There is a lot of traffic on the website, so these notifications are annoying, as I am receiving several a day.

Thank you for the follow up @webtesa !
That’s really unexpected if everything is indeed set up as you just described.
Will it be possible to send us an email at [email protected] so we can investigate further and see why that might that happen? Make sure to make a reference of this ticket so we can correlate and also start by sending us the system information file.
The file includes information about your website and our plugin’s setup so we can better understand how it is configured. You can get the system information file from the System Info tab in the Help & Contact Us section in the plugin.
Many thanks!
I have sent a message to the support email address referenced. Thanks.
Just a quick note here – we managed to find that “The MOJO Plugin” was causing this unwanted behavior. Once this was disabled, the notification stopped.
