Hello! Have you setup following procedure, about cookie setting into phpBB?
configure phpbb cookie
If logging in via WP, use the phpBB password, until you not reset it.
Thank you for replying.
I have not been able to log on to the forum to open the ACP – but will try logging out of WordPress and logging back into WordPress using the phpBB password as you’ve suggested.
I will let you know tomorrow if I was successful.
Many thanks

Clean cookies in your browser.
If wp_w3all is active in wp, try to use the phpBB pass to login wp, if not work, reset the pass. AFter the pass has been reset, it will be the same for the user in phpBB and wp.
The fact that you can’t login phpBB seem due to a wrong cookie setting or session/cookie.
If you try to login phpBB with not success, may clean cookies in your browser.
Thanks again for replying.
I’m wondering if the problems is being caused because I have the same login for wordpress and phpBB.
I’ll try altering the wordpress login and see if that solves the problem.
Thank you I really appreciate your help.
That did not work.
I also can’t find out how to link to “Absolute path to config.php file”
Sorry about this – I’m sure it’s simple if you know what you are doing.
I’ve deactivated wp_w3all and can now log into the forum – but obviously the forum is no longer connected to my wordpress site.
I’ll try uploading and reactivating wp_w3all and see if I can get it work this time – if not I’ll try another plug in.

ok! Note that the fact you have deactivate WP_w3all plugin, that is a WP plugin that work only on WP side, not should be the cause of your problem about login in phpBB, if you login/navigate phpBB by direct url and not via wp forum page iframed. And probably nor even via iframe.
No it was obviously a co-incidence.
I still can’t get this plugin to work I think I’d best give up now before I throw something at my computer screen – Thanks anyway.
