    installed today – setup three slides – noticed some things wonky (first slide on the front end display [caption id blahBlah then the picture then other closing caption html]

    So I tried to edit them – each time I go back to that screen it seems to erase what was in teh slid boxes and puts [slider info] or whatever the default.. hitting ‘text’ tab doesn’t really do what expected.. until hitting visual then text – then is shows the <p> in the default..

    Made a ‘copy slide’ same thing – it saves the slides and works on the front end – but when go back to edit screen it likes all the code disappears from all three slides.. I also cant get ‘disable visual editor’ to save – I click it – it refreshes screen and unchecks it..

    so I did an inspector check and found an error with wp-rocket – do I disabled it that – then I find this in the console:

    I’m using lots of plugins including several that effect the editor I think with salient theme’s plugins and such..

    tmi? not enough?

    Do you have Yoast SEO plugin installed.
    If so then de-activate it.

    thank you for the info – yes have yoast seo – deactivated that – and now it looks like things are showing up properly.

    Is this something we should expect yoast to work on or some kind of conflict with some universal thing like jquery or should be just assume these two plugins will not work well together and we need to give up on one or the other?

    Yes, Yoast are looking into this and will hopefully patch a fix into the release of Yoast.
