NUL NUL NUL Rien d’autre à dire 🙁

  • Hi @elsalemeec,

We are really sorry to hear that you have been facing issues with WPForms.

It seems that you’re facing issues with Email Delivery and have some confusion regarding entry storage when using WPForms Lite. I have shared more details about them below:

    Email Delivery Issue:

WPForms uses the default email function of WordPress and does not add or disable any extra functionality for handling emails. You can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    WPForms Lite Entry Storage:

Regarding our entry storage feature, WPForms Lite does not store form submissions in WordPress, though you can certainly set up form notification emails to send form submission details to your preferred email address(es). We do try to clarify this with the entry page notice in Lite and I’m sorry if you missed this. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how we can improve this.

Also, for the contacts that you already have received an email previously, it won’t be deleted after deleting the extension since those are in your email inbox.

In order to try recovering the lost leads(if any), some hosting providers do log emails that are sent out from the sites they host. So if you need to try and recover undelivered emails, the best next step in trying to find records of previous entries is to contact your site’s hosting provider to ask if this setting is enabled on your server.

If you’d like any help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    I hope this helps!
