Hi there,
Can you please add more information? What steps are you taking to cause that error, and can you reliably recreate it?
I recommend visiting our Self Service Guide, which will walk you through some of the most common causes of issues in WooCommerce, and how to solve them. There’s also a section on how to identify and deal with plugin and theme conflicts, which is helpful for pinpointing the possible source of the issue. You can access that via this link.
Following that, if the issue persists, could you share a copy of your site’s System Status Report with us? To find it, go to WooCommerce » Status, select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Then paste it here in your response.

Hi Thank you for your response.
I dug a little deeper and checked in more detail on this “WooCommerce Offline Credit Card Processing” plugin that was being used.
And turns out this plugin checks the card number validation pattern (for Visa, Mastercard & American Express – ofcourse set in the backend settings).
And thus the error. So, if somebody adds a wrong Credit card numbers it checks the pattern and throws error.
Sorry for bothering. I should have checked this before posting here and to be honest your reply gave me some push to check it myself 🙂
Good Day.
