    1) Many news agencies want to receive Word files or PDF’s. Can a press release be created on-line and then published to these formats?

    Ideally a good PR tool creates one document that gets published to various distribution channels – web is nice for sure… but PDF for alternate web access and word files so that its easy to scrape content are required.

    2) Just wondering if you have a few examples of some real on-line press rooms – and if you can provide links. It would give me a better idea of the formatting possibilities.

    As you can see, it supports download of PDF versions of PR’s.

    Press releases written on our site (http://newswire.net) are automatically converted to PDFs for that exact reason.
