Hi, We started to have issues with Layout Shift couple of months ago. Randomly, on every say 3rd to 20th reload of the site, the header has no styling and it shows expanded a few fractions seconds. This happens with Chrome (Mac) at least, and because the issue is seen in Core web vitals, it must happen to other users too.

I have now found out that it is caused by the Litespeed Plugin. If I deactivate it, the problem disappears. Also, I tried the “Disable All Features” and the problem goes away. When I only set “Enable Cache” to OFF, the problem is there, so I guess it is an optimization issue.

Report number: MSJVFASH. All plugins and themes are up-to-date.

    Please advice, thanks.

@heande please send us 2 things:
    – a report ID from LSC => Toolbox => Report => click on “Send to Litespeed” and share the ID with us
    – also please share a Google Speed insight report link so we can see the problem.

I have tested on a few loads and browsers(on Windows) and I am unable to reproduce the issue.

do you have PSI link that shows “no styling” ? the link you posted seems doing fine on me

All our pages suffer from this issue: so randomly, on every say 3rd to 20th reload of the site with Chrome (Mac at least), the header has no styling a few fractions seconds, and thus it flashes expanded before loading correctly. This causes Layout Shift.

this kind of issue usually related to CCSS and UCSS, could you please try disable these 2 options and see how it goes ? at least let’s try to narrow down which it comes from and see what to do next

Hi, I think that did the trick! I deactivated CCSS Per URL, and now it seems that the Layout Shift is gone. Thank you very much!
