    • if I choose layout with sidebars (via 80/20%) the layout is also shown at frontpage, which is not wanted. how can I remove it there ?
    • if I however aktivate 20% space for sidebars, they are not shown in the selected pages/archives. How can I make them visible ? (Custom and Theme Sidebars are stored in the widgets, and the positions defined. However, the sidebars I created are not displayed.)

    Hello @wildnaturalspirit,

    Thank you for reaching out,

Generally, there are two ways to enable/disable the sidebar:

    1. General Options: If you want to remove the sidebar site wide, go to: WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer, then find the Layout Settings.

    For example:

    I. WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Pages & Special Pages > Page Layout

II. If you want to enable/disable it from WooCommerce, navigate to WooCommerce > Archive or Single Product, then find and adjust the Page Layout Settings for WooCommerce.

III. If you want to enable/disable it from the blog, go to Blog Settings > Archive or Single Post, then find and adjust the Page Layout Settings for the blog.

    Docs:
    https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/899-customizer-pages-special-pages#Page-Layout-cNXEW
    https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/902-customizer-blog

These settings will affect all single posts, pages, or products across the site.

    2. Page-Specific Settings: If you want to enable/disable the sidebar on a specific page/post/product:

    Open the desired page.
At the top right of the editor, click the “O” icon (OceanWP settings).
In the General tab, set the Content Layout (for post/page/product layout)

    Related Doc: https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/828-general-main-oceanwp-settings

This method affects only the selected post/page/product.

Note: For method #2, you need to install the Ocean Extra plugin to access OceanWP settings under pages.

Please also review the relevant documentation at the link and description below.
We’ve also provided details about the sizing.

    Save all changes.

    I hope it helps,
    Best Regards
