Odd problem with a reader

    I recently moved my blog, http://www.morganica.com/bloggery, to a new host. The old host was using 2.7, the new host 2.7.1, and as far as I can tell that’s the only difference; the blog ported pretty easily.

    However, one of my regular subscribers started reporting problems as soon as I made the transition. Here’s what she says:
    “I wish I could get to your blog. I tried emptying the cache and deleting all cookies and the first time I clicked a link to one of your posts, it opened fast and complete. Haven’t been able to open a single one since, just interminable loading and an orange screen. I can get to the home page no problem, but not to any of the posts.”

    I asked her to test a few things, and she came back with this:
    “The link worked so I got to read it, made a comment and it went back to interminable loading. Tried the link from FB again (because I wanted to see it I could get to the other posts), no dice. Opened a new tab, typed your website address in and got the home page, a little slow, but it came up. Clicked on the link for the blog and loading, … Read Moreloading, loading orange page. Frustrating. My other attempts are usually from the dashboard of my blog with the same results. So it doesn’t matter if I try to get there via a link or by going directly to your website. Once in a blue moon it will take me to the post but never a second time.”

    The comment did come through. (The orange page is the blog background). I’ve checked the blog code, don’t see anything wrong, checked with my host, they don’t see any problems on their end.

    I haven’t heard that from anyone else and I can’t replicate the problem on any system I’ve tried. But my readership is about half what it used to be, so I’m wondering if I’m just not hearing from anyone else who has the same problem.

    So…the next step is to have her run a tracert and see where she’s going, but she doesn’t know much about computers and that will be complicated. I thought I’d check here first and see if there could be something else going on?
