Hi all. I’m trying to configure the plugin. Everything worked great for me. But there is one point that I cannot fix:

Offloaded media URLs may be broken. An error was encountered while testing the domain: Received 404 from endpoint

This happens when I try to change my Amazon domain to my subdomain.

If you use the Amazon domain, everything works fine. Files are uploaded to s3. They can be viewed. Everything is great. Everything stops working with my subdomain.

I contacted Bluehost support. We checked the subdomain – everything is fine. I checked the settings plugin documentation in Amazon and did everything according to the documentation. I’ve run out of ideas…

    Hi @eugenefil,

    Thanks for sending that in.

I used the dig command to check your CNAME cdn.feaden.net and it doesn’t seem to be pointing to CloudFront. It seems to be pointing to Bluehost.

Could you please ensure that you followed the correct guide for CloudFront here –

    https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-media/doc/cloudfront-setup/

Please let us know how that goes.

Hello. Thank you. As I understand it, something went wrong when creating a CNAME for my domain. Even before adding my domain to Amazon? OK. I will sort this out.

I will return with the news only within 48 hours: ( Bluehost made changes to my entries. But it is already obvious that the plugin did not work due to my fault. There were A entries that did not allow me to make a correct CNAME entry. Therefore, when I could not insert the Amazon domain into the point I inserted my subdomain there. That’s what Bluehost allowed me to do. Which was nonsense. Now everything has been fixed for me. I’m waiting for the records to start working. Thank you for wasting your time on the problem because of my head.

    Hi @eugenefil,

We used the dig command to check your CNAME cdn.feaden.net again, and it seems it’s now pointing to CloudFront.

Can you kindly confirm if the 404 error still shows up?
