Same here (including the info about facebook debugger)!! Please help me fix this !
My post in question is: http://gogreatergood.com/news/february2015
…and the image which SHOULD be appearing is a man in the shower (same image as the youtube thumbnail which you can see on the post).
Please explain in layman’s terms whenever possible as I am not extremely experienced with site design.
((Alternatively, is there any other free (or close to free) plugin which also makes it easy to add in different images for different posts? I am having trouble finding one.))
Thank you so much in advance!!
I have been expierienceing the same problem at http://goatcloud.com/2015/02/20/website-conversion-for-aubrey-guri-team-realtyusa/ and every page on the goatcloud.com website.
Code is fine, but Facebook (and any other social media service) will not find the OG:image when sharing a link.
I think the problem started when I moved from All in One SEO to Yoast’s WordPress SEO.
I’ve tried the route of disabling all plugins (including Jetpack), stopping caching, to no avail.
On another website where I have WordPress SEO installed, I get a back end error warning message that says “Can cause issues with Facebook sharing unless option in SEO > Social > Add Open Graph meta data > is unchecked.”.
If I uncheck “add open graph meta data” and try to include it using any other plugin, I have the same problem – when sharing the post no image appears, even if the OG:image code is on the page.
This was not happening until I moved to the Yoast plugin.
