I’m having an issue with the OG image on my homepage. I’ve set the OG image using the Yoast plugin, but it’s displaying a different image on Facebook and LinkedIn. However, on other social media platforms, the correct image appears as I set it in the Yoast settings.

Also, how can I set the same OG image for all pages without using Yoast Premium?

    Hello @developernext,

Thanks for reaching out about your social sharing. Did you upload a social image in the social tab of the Yoast SEO meta box when you edit the homepage? Is the correct image showing as the og:image when you view the page source?

    Hi @maybellyne ,

Yes, I’ve uploaded the OG image in the social settings of the homepage, and the correct image URL is showing in the og:image tag. However, when I share the link on LinkedIn or Facebook, it shows a different image (some image from the page content), while sharing on WhatsApp or Skype displays the correct image from the og:image tag.

    Hi @developernext

Yoast SEO adds the data in the page source i.e. is the og:image. As long as you see the correct image URL in the page source, that confirms Yoast SEO is outputting the correct data.

Since the image you uploaded in the Yoast SEO plugin is shown in the page source, the issue isn’t with our plugin. I recommend reaching out to Facebook in the Developer Community Forum.
