og:title is listed through Yoast SEO as “Citizens Against Refusals, Exile, and Separation – C.A.R.E.S.”.

Yet, when going to Facebook and sharing it consistently puts the words “HOME -” before it. I have gone to the Facebook Debugger now multiple times, clicked Scrape Again, and it still lists the title to contain the words “Home – Citizens Against Refusals, Exile, and Separation – C.A.R.E.S.”

What am I missing? How do I fix this? Why am I not seeing the update? Mind you, it’s been well over 12 hours now and I have asked it to Scrape Again over dozens of times.

Note, the description also does not show up at all updated.

If I go to my website, view source, it is all showing. What gives?

Anyone please? Or is this missed cause I responded to it. 🙁

And now it randomly shows up fine. I am guessing Facebook has some really bad caching system. As I asked it to reload and scrape new data, which did nothing. Very odd. Anyone know why this happens?

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with Yoast.

We ran your URL on Facebook’s debug tool and directly on Facebook. We found the correct title and meta description appear.

This issue occurs from time to time and is resolved when Facebook updates their cache.

Please let us know if you run into any other issues.
