Your plugin says that you it overrides the Yoast plugin meta tags. I dont want that. I only wants Yoast meta tags but want to keep your plugin. How is it possible.
Hello @bytegeeky,
Thanks for reaching out and for appreciating our plugin.
Rest assured, we will check this right away for you. Would you be so kind to send us a link to one of your blog posts which have been published with wrong meta tags? This way we can check this in detail for you.

Hey,
Please look into the blog https://blogbyts.com If you check this website you will find following issues.
Og:title- Home
Og:description –
So your plugin is pulling og:title as “home” whereas it should be the meta title. In case of og:description it is pulling nothing.
Now in case of post it is pulling correct data for og:title but for og:description is pulling first few lines of the article which does not make any sense.
I know free version has some limitation but what I want by doing some code change is that for og:title it should pull the meta title ( By Yoast) and for og:description it should pull meta description( By yoast)
That’s it.
Please visit the blog and few post to understand the issue.
here is one sample article. But i have major issue with the homepage.

This has the same issue I mentioned above. I have to put the other said blog under maintenance due to some update.
Hello @bytegeeky,
Thanks for your reply and the links.
Blog2Social is designed to meet the social media sharing requirements without the need for additional plug-ins.You can change the og:tags for your frontpage with Blog2Social and all your blogposts as well.
To change the og:tags, please go to Blog2Social -> Settings ->Social Meta Data.
In this area you can define the desired title of your front page for Facebook and Twitter.
To set the og:tags for your blog post as well please make sure that both checkboxes for “Meta Tags Settings for Posts and Pages” are checked, too.
Then click “save”.
Now you can use Blog2Social to modify the og:tags and the images of your posts and share them on your social media networks.
You can find more information about Social Meta Tags and how to set them with Blog2Social here: What are open graph tags and what do I use them for?

As I said it’s a great plugin but the only thing that me or may be many others wants the following.
og:title= Meta title
og:description= Meta description
Right now the plugin is pulling few sentense from the article and shows as og:description.
Either you can give option to edit the open graph meta tags in social meta data section or change the code to pull the collect open graph data.
Thanks again for this outstanding plugin.
