    I discovered this plugin as a Formidable Form Pro user when they recommended it.

    I was doing this by just creating “My Special Functions” but this takes it a step further by adding management and enough of an editor for basic changes.

    So far I am liking this because I use child themes. Works if you don’t use those either 🙂

    Tip: “Import” your snippets is in the Snippets menu, but exporting is available with each snippet at the bottom. using

    Using JSON might be better than XML, but works so far.

    Thanks for the review!

    JSON is a good idea. I used XML to begin with, as that’s what WordPress uses, but it would be far easier to just use JSON. I’d be interested to know what advantages it would have over XML to the user? At the very least, I could add it as an alternate (perhaps default?) export format.

    I am acquainted with it because AFC uses it. I have had some errors when using XML that I didn’t see when JSON files are created. Maybe just a simpler format? I think more “humanly” readable.

    But again, this is a nifty plugin idea. 🙂
