OK to deactivate/delete plugin after creating child theme?

    Just wondering if there would be any issues if I remove the plugin now that I’ve created my child theme? I’m not wanting to use the “save changes” option from the plugin after reading the forum posts, seems to cause problems. I just want to carry on from here with my child theme. Thanks in advance.
