Old backups not automatically deleted from server

    Hello,

    Our settings are to retain 2 backups and the box for “Delete local backup” in advanced settings is checked. The older backups are not shown under “Existing Backups”; however, they are still on the server, which is causing storage space issues. I have to log into file manager to manually delete the older backups. How can we fix this?

    Hi,

    Are your backups sent to a remote storage (i.e. dropbox, googledrive)?

    Make sure that you already have a remote storage setup because by default UpdraftPlus will save the backups to your local server if there are no remote storage setup.
