    Hello dear people,
we have a little problem on our side. At Pagespeed we are shown a CDN which is always displayed to us as a warning at Pagespeed. The wording is:
A <link rel=preconnect> was found for https://i1.wp.com, but was not used by the browser. Only create a preconnect to important sources that the website will definitely query.
The previous developer of our site worked with Jetpack. How do I get the entries on the server deleted?
    Thanks Kind regars Oldigel

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @oldigel

When I activate the CDN on a test site, I am not seeing the <link rel=preconnect> set by Jetpack.

My sense is that this is something they set in the theme code and will need to be removed there.

First of all thanks for the hint. If it’s like I’m supposed to be looking in the theme, where exactly in the theme should I be looking? Where could one write such an application in which topic? Thanks but I’m searching and searching .

Jetpack was installed on the side. I don’t know why the developer deleted this.

    Thanks kind regards.

    Hi @oldigel

It’s worth looking into your theme or any caching/optimization plugin that you use, we can’t provide specific information as this highly relies on how the theme/plugin works; however, you can reach out to the theme developer regarding that.

I am linking below more information about the preconnect parameter used, as it can be useful:

    Best,
