Old posts are not deleting

    I have wp 4.1.5 . I have been successfully getting feeds from 8 RSS sources and able to display them but the size became big (40,000+ rows). So i decided to put limits everywhere
    1. (max 100 feeds per post – delete old posts)
    2. max 20 days age limit in each feed sources
    3. max 20 days age limit in main settings tab

    After putting in all these settings i then clicked on delete posts for individual feed sources , but the size is not reducing. I can still see feeds that are 5 months old in the database!

    I even tried “delete and re-import” button in the debugging tab but rows did not get deleted.

    I even waited for 2 days for site to automatically do it in next feed fetching, but rows did not get deleted.

    Hi there,

    Given that you have so many feed items imported it might take a while till the deleting process will be completed. Can you please try using the “Delete items” option in the feed sources list and using that multiple times on one feed source at a time to see if the items start to reduce in number?

    There has been no deletion at all. I tried it today also, there is absolutely no change. The posts are not deleting from database “tt_posts”.

    I clicked on delete for individual feeds also, no change…
