Did your plugin ever use tables like wp_swp_cf, wp_swp_index, wp_swp_log, etc.?

I am cleaning up the database of a site (new to me) that has these tables, alongside what are clearly your tables (wp_searchwp_log, wp_searchwp_index, etc.)

I’m just trying to figure out what these older tables belong to in order to determine if I can remove them.

Additionally, the wp_searchwp_log and wp_searchwp_index tables are quite large. Can these be reduced in size with a setting someplace?

    Thanks.

    Hi @efishinsea

I would like to inform that wp_swp_cf, wp_swp_index, wp_swp_log, wp_swp_terms tables are generated by old SearchWP V3. These tables are no longer used in the latest V4 plugin version. You can safely remove these tables from the database by using this extension.

If you need additional assistance related to SearchWP premium plugin, then you can raise a support ticket from your SearchWP account and we can help you from there.

…so all of my searches stopped returning results after I ran the tool… the newer tables are all still there, but nothing comes back in results on the sites where this tool has been used. And yes, I tried rebuilding the search index…

Got it. The tool erased our custom search engines…. I had to remake them. Not the end of the world, but not what I was expecting…
