What version of php are you using?
The bug is that your PHP version is 5.4 and under. I have a 5.6 – result, everything works fine. You need update you version php, but here is version 1.5.1 – https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/bbpress-new-ui.1.5.1.zip . Updated and maintained it will not be. You need upgrade to a newer version of PHP.

My PHP version is 5.5.12. NOT 5.4. This is on my local server. The New version of your plugin works just fine on my live site for some reason and it has PHP version 5.4.32. Sooooo, doesn’t seem like it has to do with having the NEWER version of PHP would help????
