On Taxonomy
-
At present how WordPress handles taxonomy is confusing, at least to me. I recommend that taxonomy be handled this way:
Taxonomy: In WordPress there are two taxonomies: the first for post types; post, page, media, links, custom types; and one for items within a post type, such as categories and tags.
One really doesn’t need separate taxonomies where post types are concerned, only categories and tags. They handle the job quite nicely.
Hope this makes sense.
