    Isn’t the below exactly why you install the plugin from the WP dashboard? Why the need for this extra step?

    Once Activated

    Upload ldap-login-for-intranet-sites.zip to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
    Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
    Go to Settings-> LDAP Login Config, and follow the instructions.
    Click on Save

    Hello,

    Thank you for pointing out that. We have updated our guide and removed steps which were repeated. After you activate plugin from WP dashboard you just have to configure LDAP plugin.

    Once Activated
    1) Go to Settings-> LDAP Login Config, and follow the instructions.
    2) Click on Save
