One Language only/WPML

I installed the plugin on a WPML site and for the most part it works fine. But sometimes the same post in another language shows up in the related posts. Is there any way to stop that from happening?

Eg. can I limit the results to the current language? Or are there any hooks in the plugin that I could use to filter the results?
