PROBLEM MESSAGE: One or more tables required for WooCommerce to function are missing, some features may not work as expected. Missing tables: wp_wc_product_download_directories

I did a search in the forums and see there were lots of similar issues for others. I tried some of the suggestions like VERIFY DATABASE: Verifying database… One or more tables are still missing: wp_wc_product_download_directories

my table prefix is the default, “wp_”

can someone assist with this issue? it began after a recent woocommerce update.

Hello,

Sorry to hear about this, it appears like the database version is already updated.

You can perform these steps:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Go to WooCommerce > status > tools > do a click over update database, then over verify database allow some time for these actions to run properly
If this does not make a difference, then please provide the following:

Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if any other error is displayed).
