One pageview counts as two

    Hi,

    This is a great plugin! I’m experiencing an issue where one hit to my site counts as two pageviews. The problem is fairly consistent, though on occasion it shows accurately. I have not been able to determine a pattern.

    I have “Track Registered Users” set to No, and “Administration Exclusion” set to Yes. I am viewing the pageview count directly in the database—not through the WordPress dashboard.

    Do you have any suggestions, or do you know of a way to debug this?

    Hi Sean, thanks for reporting!

    That is something new. Actually the hit is recorded using AJAX call to the backend. You could see with DevTools whether your page sends 2 requests to admin-ajax.php.
