Im not sure what the problems is but only one of m posts on my webpage has comments turned off, yet I have comments enabled on all other posts and pages on my website.
Here is the specific post:

In the admin, if you go to that post, in quick edit mode, did you check if the comments were turned off? Perhaps they were turned off by accident.
PS: I’m pretty sure mosquitoes are insects, not animals. 🙂
