    Hi Tobias!

    I have a use case for you….

When I upload one table, it has LOADS of data in it.

I want to use the same table shortcode to display the table, but sorted by different columns in two different places on my website. For instance in one place “most fish caught” highest to lowest in one area of the site, but “total weight of fish caught” shown highest to lowest on a different page. Is this possible with shortcode parameters in some way?

    Thanks always,

    -Paul

    Hi,

    thanks for your question!

This is possible with the “Row Order” feature module that is part of the TablePress Pro premium license plan.

With that, you can add the same table to different pages, but configure each instance to be sorted by a different column when the page is loaded.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thank you. I have purchased the pro version and uploaded it. Upon activate I get this error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error

    Have I done something wrong?

    Thanks for your continued support.

    Hi,

it looks like you are still using an older version of the free TablePress version (not yet 2.0.x). Can you therefore please first deactivate “TablePress” and then activate “TablePress (Premium)” again?

    Regards,
    Tobias
