One Twitter app for Multisite Network?

    Hi guys!

    I run a multisite WordPress network, and am trying to figure out the best way to support my users with the changes introduced with Twitter API 1.1 – specifically, the new requirement for users to create an app for their sites.

    I’m wondering if it would be possible for you to add an admin feature to the plugin so that the Network Admin could plug in app info (key, secret, etc) that would apply to the whole network. My network is small enough that we could probably use one ‘app’ to support all sites that needed Twitter plugins, without bypassing the TOS from Twitter.

    Any possibility this could happen?

    Hi,

    This is already possible with the latest version of WordTwit. When you, as the website admin ads a Twitter account in WordTwit, you can make the accounts “Private’ or “Shared”. Private accounts an only be used by the user who added the Twitter account. Shared accounts can be used by any user who has access to publish posts in your network.
