onepress lightbox for WordPress galleries

    I know other themes enable a lightbox for the standard WordPress gallery images. This was already requested 2 years ago: Enable lightbox on gallery

    So may I again ask if it would be possible to activate for galleries the same lightbox included in Onepress (lightGallery jQuery)?
    Installing another plugin which loads other files (js, css) seems as well inconsistent (design may differ) and not good for the page speed (longer loading) to me.

    Do you mean to add the lightbox for any WordPress Gallery or just for image in Gallery Section?

    I think no one likes to go with the standard WordPress Link Settings for Image and Gallery elements (None, Media File, Attachment Page). At least I’m annoyed with this.

    So if a theme includes lightbox functionality and it is active I would expect as standard behavior to apply the lightbox settings also to WordPress Images and Galleries (in posts and pages). So in Onepress the settings are in Customizing ▸ Section: Gallery Section ▸Content – in my opinion just Enable Lightbox and Enable Image Link depending on the setting there also on WordPress Images and Galleries would suffice. But you may add other options there or under Customizing ▸ Theme Options ▸ Single Post?
