    Hi,

At the moment , only users with ‘administrator rights’ , can link a post/page/product to a user group.
For all other user levels, the settings doesn’t show up in the edit post sidebar.

I have a specific user which has the role ‘ Shop manager’ (Woocommerce). I want to also give this person the ability to link posts/pages/products to a user group. Can you tell me if this is possible and how I can manage to do this?

    Thanks!

    Kees

At the settings page you can set the minimum role for access handling.

I Guess I’m missing something here.
The only access setting I can find is “Minimum user role with full access”.
This setting makes no difference in what I’m trying to achieve.

    Which setting do you mean?

Yes I mean exactly that setting. If you change it for example to editor all user with the editor role and above (Order is from high to low: Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor, Subscriber) are able to change it.

    never mind, problem solved!

Checkbox was greyed out because the parent of the page was linked to a group .. 🙂
