Only current month’s permalinks working!!!

I upgraded to 1.0 once it was available..
today i tried to look at some of my old posts, and discovered that my permalinks (i use the mod_rewrite structure /year/month/day/post-title) didn’t work!
so i tried to click my archive links, and found out that only the current month archives and permalinks are working, but not, for example, the last month’s ones, an the others..
i checked out my permalinks structure in ‘options’, and remade my .htaccess with the same structure.. nothing changes, only the current month works..
anyway, posts exist: if i give ?m=20031010 for example, it works.. but it’s broken with /2003/10/10
what could it be? HELP! I’m HEVILY ranked on search engines with those permalinks, if i should have to throw em i will get less pleased visitors, and more 404-angry visitors!!!
