Only Default thumbnails display

Hi,

We’re using a template that uses thumbnails for posts (see http://wp-ellie.solostreamsites.com/2009/12/install-and-set-up-guide/ for Plugin support). However, the only thumbnail that displays for Related Posts is the default one (I created a new one). How can I get it to display the post-related thumb?
