I am looking for a directory solution which will allow many people to edit the directory, but their role will be only to edit their own record, aside from admins that is. Does Connections Pro allow for this model and is there documentation you can point me to that discusses how I’d set up a role like this?

We’d like people to be able to add their own accounts as part of the process. If you have a plugin solution for this aspect, I’d be interested in hearing more about that as well.

Yes, you need at least the Link addon and optionally the Form addon. Here are the links:
