It would be great to have a way to choose which pages and posts get tracked.

I have a real estate site that has thousands of outbound links, but I only need to track the 3 links on one page.

I suggest providing a way to select post type, to include or exclude custom posts, and a way to select or deselect tracking on a per-post basis. (All or none in the settings, then a check box on the post edit page.)

  • Generally I like your idea but I’m not sure if this would accord with the principle of the Plugin keeping it as simple as possible. I will give it some thought.

Even keeping it simple, just the ability to disallow certain post type (posts, pages, custom posts), could be a big help to anyone who uses the plug-in. That would be simple, and would help those who experience the same issue that I do, where there are hundreds or thousands of links being tracked unnecessarily.

Thank you for giving it your thought!

I agree with you and will think about how to add this as a feature without complicating it.
