For other people who have this problem:
There are multiple possible reasons why the second drop-down select is not selectable and the search box does not work.
Most frequent of them are:
1. CSS div drop-downs instead of normal HTML <select> inputs.
2. JavaScript error because the JQuery, jQuery UI Widget or the .js script of this plugin are not loaded at the top of the page.
3. Problem with AJAX request to load options of the next drop-down.

Make Model Year stays but categorie dissapears i need to reselect it to appear again

I have just checked your website.
I see the file:
wp-content/plugins/ymm-search/view/frontend/web/main.js
still does not contain the updated code.
For example, the updated file should contain this line:
if (this.preCategories && this.preCategories.rootCategoryIds && this.lastLevelIsSelected()){

OMG! i copy paste the folder into server folder… the problem is that the main.js and others are not on main folder, after check changes.txt i replaced all the files
Well its a bit mislead since you have 2 folders and i thought it was only copy paste them 🙂
But categories still not appearing 🙁 When i select the categories it dissapears the option only make model year appear after selecting it
A bit off topic:
1. How to donate for you?
2. Its possible to insert number plate search for portuguese number plates? I only found for uk`

After selecting “Alfa Romeo 159 2009” it displays the categories drop-down.
Just it is not preselected.
This modification just displays the category drop-down. It does not preselect them.
