Only use the edit profile shortcode?

    I have the login page ready, and the author.php page too designed.
    All I need is to edit the users profile without letting them access to the backend. Is this the right plugin for me?

    Hi aasemjs,

    Do you mean that you, as the admin, want to be able to edit all the users’ profiles yourself? Or do you want people to be able to edit their own profiles on the front end?

    If it’s the former, then this is definitely possible. In the plugin admin, just go to the “Users” tab and click on the user you want to modify.

    If it’s the latter, then you could indeed just put the edit-profile shortcode on a page and, if a user is logged in and visits that page, they’ll be able to edit their profile there.
