Oops! Forgot Admin Email/Username

    Hi all,

    Have a free WordPress account and have forgotten the email address I use to access admin.

    Is there a way to retrieve the admin email address? I’ll know the password once I have the address or username.

    Are you talking about hosted wordpress.com account or self hosted WordPress account by downloading it from ww.wp.xz.cn?

    Have you forgotten both username and email address?

    Hi Vinod,

    I am facing similar issue. Mine is a self hosted sub domain using wordpress template.Please let me know, Is there any option to retrieve the admin email address / username?

    Hi,

    Beside the heading “How-To and Troubleshooting” there is a button Add New. You can use it to create new threads.

    If you have forgotten both the user id AND the email id used (and you are using the self hosted WordPress version) then the only way to find out is to go in t he database and see the users table
