@usamaazad99 That message appears if the REST-API POST to cf7apps/v1/migrate fails. Unfortunatley the current REST-API calls do not supply more details in case of errors, just false.

@marxveix You could try to disable your Solid Security plugin and try again, maybe it intercepts the REST-API calls or similar.

Solid Security is disabled here, still the same error. Cant this new CF7Apps work without REST-API or this is needed only for migration purpose and only once? Maybe add option do to it manually somehow or why its needed if honeypot already works, let it be as it is? Oops! is after yes button, cant do nothing. πŸ™‚

    Hey @marxveix ,

To clarify your question, CF7Apps does require REST API access not just for the migration process, but as a core part of how the plugin operates. This is limited to just back-end API calls. This approach makes the plugin faster.

    Best regards,

@aqibkhan9 For additional clarification, the Honeypot for Contact Form 7 plugin never used REST API and was blazing fast. All these REST API calls were only added in the plugin rebranding with version 3.0.0 one week ago.

Thanks for your response. Could you please share a screen recording while following these steps?

    • Go to the Plugin Dashboard.
    • Open the browser console
    • Go to the network
    • Click the migration button
    • After sending the request, click on it to view the preview and response.

This will help us understand the issue better and provide accurate support. I have attached a screencast video that replicates the debugging process.

    Hi Support Team,

Deleted CF7Apps plugin and using another honeybot at the moment.

Simple and lightweight is better for me, thank you!
