That error means that the field with merge tag SCHOOAD is setup a a required field, but the field is not included in the form. Either set the field to not be required, or include it in the form.

Go to Mailchimp for WP > Mailchimp and click the “Renew Mailchimp lists” button to make sure MC4WP is aware of the latest field settings.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Please show me a full screen screenshot of the form setup in your WordPress admin: Mailchimp for WP > Form > Fields.

And another full screen screenshot from your Mailchimp .com Audiences > Settings > Fields.

You can upload the screenshot somewhere (eg imgur.com) and post the links here. Thanks!

Sorry, this has taken so long. I hope these are the images you needed, I wasn’t sure about the second as it didn’t quite match your description.

    Hey @rrstorer,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. The “School Address” is a mandatory field in your MailChimp List so any submission would be rejected if this data is missing. I would suggest unchecking the “required” option and then testing again.

    Thanks that works!

oops – or maybe not. I’m not receiving the email verification when my email has been added for a newsletter request. Even though in WordPress it states : Success

Do you have double opt-in turned on?

Under Mailchimp for WP > Other, set it to “log everything” and test the form again.
If there is no error in the log it means the subscriber is sent in correctly, from there it’s out of our hands and Mailchimp should send you the opt-in email (if so configured) or otherwise directly add the subscriber to the audience the form is setup for.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Setup the SPF record to include Mailchimp’s server.

Please note we are not affiliated with MailChimp.com. We are a different company "ibericode" that develops plugins such as "MailChimp for WordPress". I'm sorry to tell you I am not able to help you with this question as it is not related to our plugin. My advice to you is to contact MailChimp.com as they would be the best people to answer any query related to your MailChimp.com account.
