Hello,
Is it possible for you to share a screenshot of the exact warning message you’re seeing?
Since opcode cache is configured at the server level, it is worth checking with SiteGround support first. They are better equipped to guide you on this and can usually check your specific server environment to get it enabled for you.
Also, as far as I recall in Site Health setting, it lets you uncheck the specific tests you don’t want to see (like the Opcode Cache).
Thank you!

Hi,
It is enabled, trust me. I can see it in phpinfo.
“Site Health Status
The site health check shows information about your WordPress configuration and items that may need your attention.1 recommended improvement
Recommended items are considered beneficial to your site, although not as important to prioritize as a critical issue. They may include improvements in areas such as security, performance, and user experience.Opcode cache is not enabledPerformance”
But I see no intuitive option to dismiss this notice, other than a custom snippet.
For some further feedback; it would be nice to offer the option to just turn Site Health completely off, because I’ve been using WordPress for over 10 years now, so I will already know if WP is unhealthy, without these checks.
Most of the time, in my experience, they are false positives which only lead me on a pointless runaround.

I already use Admin Menu Editor on all my sites, so with that I have just hidden the whole Site Health menu option under Tools. It keeps showing me a numbered circle about ‘critical issues’ that are in fact far from critical. Some of us know what we’re doing.
Is the opcache “file_cache_only”? This is a bug.
