can you exactly copy & paste that message? its important to understand if the problem is with PHP version installed on your hosting, or this plugin.
As an assumption, I think that you might be using php lower <= 5.4 version on your hosting, and that line might cause the problem, yes (because our plugins are not built for old php versions).
However, as an attempt, I’ve committed a small change to code, and you can try to delete the plugin, and then redownload/reinstall again from wp plugins. and let me know if that fixed your problem.

Thanks for responding. I am using PHP Version 5.6.39 on host (SiteGround). I deleted the plugin, as you suggested, and reinstalled the plugin once more, with your code changes. This time, it appears to have loaded and launched without a problem. Therefore, the changes you made to the code appear to be working. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
