    On one site the map is showing but the balloon is not in the open status when redirected to the map.
    On another site the map doesn’t show – only the address again. What causes that?

    Can you please provide a download link for the last version so I can convert back until the conflict is discovered?

    Without an example link, this is impossible to debug. My guess: check your browser for javascript errors, make sure no minify/caching plugin gets in the way and clear your browser cache.
    The earlier versions can always be downloaded from wp. Check the plugin advanced section.
