Hi,

We have this up and working, however where a subscriber is added to our mail chimp list – despite having an opt-in in the form – it does so showing each new user as an opt-out with no GDPR opt-in status?

you can not override mailchimp double optin. if double optin is enabled in mailchimp list settings then selecting optin status as “subscribed” in wordpress plugin will NOT work

The feed has a subscribed status (with MailChimp double opt-in turned off). This will subscribe a NEW contact and add them to an audience, but it also details them as ‘Opted-out of…’ on their activity feed. In addition No GDPR status is added recorded.

i could not replicate this
in mailchimp double optin is NOT enabled + GDPR fields are enabled
in mailchimp feed set status to “subscribed”
sent new contact to mailchimp, its status was “subscribed” in mailchimp
