    Hi Thomas,

    May I know what is the optimal image size recommended so that the browser does not resize then upon loading?

    For header image it’s 960px wide, for post/page: 620px wide. You have to be aware, that new WordPress now creates automatically several intermediate size images that would be loaded depending on the viewport size saving the bandwith, loading time and avoiding resizing.
